Sometimes you just want to say it out loud. So, I’ve put my rusty podcasting skills to the test and (much swearing) later, here’s a quick voice note from me to you. In it I mention a flower essence I’ve been using and loving, and it’s the
Hello hello hello back to you Jo! Lovely podcast and wonderful to hear you! I have so thoroughly enjoyed discovering your blog/podcast. I noticed in my morning walk that hint of what’s to come in the air but the days are still very hot. All your upcoming changes sound exciting and invigorating to the soul. On patience, it is something that arrived for me upon turning 60. It came along on little kitten feet and I wasn’t even really aware that it had arrived as it was so soft and slow. But it sure has been a positive in my life. I’m excited for your plans and look forward to being a small part of that journey through your sharing! Many blessings and good thoughts coming your way from another fellow traveler.
Ok, mind meld time, or something -- today I was feeling the urge to do a post sharing the substack writers I’m enjoying so looking forward to reading yours! And the cosiness of this audio is giving me the courage to (finally) give it a whirl myself ❤️ Not a fan of the humid, but these summer days are bittersweet for me. Don’t want them to end xo
Ahhh, it has been so wonderful to put a voice to the name. Love a good rambling, as a fellow rambler myself. ;)
Lots of change in this corner of the world too, though not too far from where your world is. I am finally lowering my hours at my day job and allowing more spaciousness in to be, to create, to live. And the air is full of excitement. It reminds me of the excitement I used to feel in the run up to a new school year. And I agree, there is something autumnal in the air. The mornings are getting darker. The evenings are drawing in quicker. There has been a bit of a chill in the air in the last couple days. All signs of the shifting of the season. I love how you described it as liminal space.
In a way, this period feels like a massive liminal space. Not quite sure what's to come but feeling the change in the air.
Also, thank you for the essence recommendation. I've been wanting to try some natural essences recently so this was very timely.
I'm new here, the lovely Susannah mentioned you so I had to come over. I'm feeling anxious at the thought of autumn coming, I suffer with SAD and I really dont enjoy autumn/winter. I'm trying to think positive and want to find something to get stuck into to take my mind off it but I'm not sure what.
Catching up a bit late on this, but this is wonderful Jo. I so enjoyed sitting by the fire this evening and listening to you here.
Sounds as though there are big changes afoot for you. Also, I've just noticed the turning here the light is growing, and there's a hint of something. The Quickening is nigh. I love how we inhabit the parallels...although your Summer has sounded grotesque (actually Australian!)
Skipping all over the show here, and I don't know much about Human Design - it's not my system, but I know I'm a 4/6, so I relate to what you were saying about your partner changing course : )
Looking forward to hearing - and seeing - more of you (video too - yes please to all of it!). xx
